Crossmediaal Meten

Branding: Research project about cross-media measuring

In an increasingly global and digital media landscape, it is important that quality programs continue to be made in Flanders and that viewers can find them on all possible platforms. The Flemish broadcaster VRT is stimulating the development of a cross-media measuring system to measure the viewing and listening figures in an adequate way. The VRT plays a pioneering role in this, together with private media players.

This branding is based on the concept of cross-mediaal, which is represented by lines & rulers that run through the logo and split it into different levels.

For the further elaboration, the ‘cross’ fact of the lines is further elaborated in physical levels; layers are superimposed. In this way they also refer to the infographic subtype ‘horizon charts’, infographics that are often used in this communication.
